MINNIE MOUSE COOKIES

and these are the cookies of the birthday party (look at previous post on my daughter’s birthday cake with Minnie). As far as I remember Mickey has 4 fingers, but noone even realized that as the party was for elderly people mostly, members of the family. 🙂

I used fondant to cover the cookies in white, and painted the stripes with a brush and black edible gel colour.
below are real-life photos from the party. Ece was not surprised at all when she saw the cake, because it was not purchased but baked and decorated in front of herself. So, she behaved as if a friend Minnie stopped by.

Materials below are all the stationary. Click on the photo to enlarge if needed; all the posters, decorations, magnet gifts, invitation, lollipops etc are photographed. All I am missing is the photo of the table where we presented around 30 types of food for our guests. So the fuchsia colored Minnie Party was finaly run! I am happy it is over safely!!

RED VALENTINE COOKIES

Today’s post will be on various Valentine cookies I had baked inbetween, not necessarily on St. Valentine’s but to lovers whenever they wanted!
when I started decorating cookies, I loved everything simple. Today, I cannot enjoy any cookie without patterns on the fondant or crimped edges. However letter embossers have always been my favorite. No cookie is personal enough without names on it.
I dislike to repeat myself when it comes to cookies, however need to do so to keep the business going. I have some customers who push me into always creating news designs. On one side, this is really challenging & difficult but on the other side, they push me also into developing myself! Love that!
