ORANGE COOKIES WITH FLOWERS

Our women organize frequent gettogethers. In time, every member in a friend group is visited by other members in a certain timeframe, ie weekly. This goes on and on amongst housewives.

We welcome our guests with special food, and the orange cookies with flowers were prepared for such a day bearing the name of each friend.

The flowers are made by the use of First Impressions silicon mold, and the leaves by injector cutters. The rest are various embossers, ones I always use.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY COOKIES FOR DİDEM

I am a Karen Davies fan; the faces are molded with her silicon molds. The outcome is always as if made by hand, simple but perfect. However, I also love to add something from myself. Sugarcraft guns are useful to make the hair as above-love it!
What makes a fondant cookie 3-dimensional is the use of embossers or rolling pins. On the letters I have used Patchwork cutters embossers, and on letters I and M, I used the Graceful Vines mat by Wilton.

The ginger boys are rolled with a bubble rolling pin. I am always and always asked about the letter embossers. These are named Brigitte by Staedter, sold in Germany – very useful to emboss write anything onto fondant. I cannot live without them as this is what personalizes a cookie!

COLORFUL COOKIES FOR A NEWLY MARRIED COUPLE

Banu & Doruk are newly married and they moved to their new home, probably a short while ago. I made these cookies, to celebrate their marriage and remembered to add a ‘Home Sweet Home’ cookie.
The last week has experienced a significant workload from Dell so I stayed away from baking or the kitchen. Happily back with full energy now; I am looking forward to baking hundreds of cookies again. Voila! Life is great!

COOKIES FOR 2 LOVERS

Prepared for the celebration of a first anniversary of 2 lovers. I forgot to take photos of all cookies, that is why I had to survive with what I have below 🙁
