Bu aralar küçük hanım Ece, kurabiye işime çok saygı gösteriyor. Bu annenin işi dediğim zaman dokunmuyor çalışmalarıma. Tek şartla. Kendisine alınan mini oklava ve mini modelleme aletleri önüne konulacak, hamuuu (şeker hamuru) da ellerine teslim edilecek. O kediler yapacak, ayılar yapacak… her yaptığı süslemenin ardından, ‘anne bak’ diyecek; annesi bakmazsa bakana kadar ‘anne bak’ demeye devam edecek.
Ece’yle hayat artık daha kolay (ve milyon kere daha keyifli). Dün gibi daha süslediğim onlarca kurabiyenin dolu olduğu tepsiyi bütün hışmıyla yere devirdiği gün. Az köstek olmadı bana…

Bizim evde bu kurabiyelerin süslenmemiş hali pek popüler. Arkadaşlarım, ailem ve başta babam müdavimlerimden. Zor beğenen babamın benim bir tek, sadece bir tek ürünüme bu kadar düşkün olması memnuniyet verici. Her geldiğinde mutlaka mutfağa dalar, ve en tazelerini kapar. Fakat, herkes için geçerli kural, hangi şekillerin yenilebileceğinin bana sorulması!
Resimde görülen kurabiyeler çubuklu. Aynılarının çubuksuzunu da çalıştım, bolca kurabiye süsledim Özge hanım için. Çubuklu kurabiyeleri sevmiyorum, çubukları güzel değil diye. Ama aranjman olarak sergilenmesi de daha gösterişli oluyor… ve bu haliyle daha fazla tezahürat alıyor. Yine de benim tercihim ferforje kurabiye ağaçları.Ece’nin seneye organize etmeyi umduğum doğumgününde dev bir kurabiye ağacı hazırlamayı düşünüyorum, elbetteki dev bir doğumgünü pastası eşliğinde.
